If you have ever wondered about human nature, values, power of power, identities, loyalties, inequalities, dialogues, participation, cultures and humanism, this book is for you. The simplest question posed across these essays is: how can we further improve human relations as well as assure
progress in human development? Had the social institutions been built on the basis of economic and cultural bonds, whose functioning demands mutual trust and cooperation, instead of on the basis of political power and hierarchies, human relations would have evolved more harmoniously and much faster. The need of the hour is a series of moderate to radical mini-revolutions so as to put
our social institutions on the fast-track towards peace and progress in a universal spirit and in a globalized world.
